Is this genital herpes??

imageAbout two days ago my vagina started itching. When i looked at it, my skin seemed to be peeling. I was able to peel off a piece of skin from my labia minora. Yesterday when I looked at it, it looked like this. It is very painful when I urinate. I don't have any of the flu like symptoms that come with herpes though. I've been with the same guy for three months and didn't notice anything until now. Can someone please help me?! I also have an abnormal amount of discharge, but it doesn't have an odor. image

    hey guys can anyone tell me what this looks like to you? herpes? I've recently been raped and he didn't use protection I got tested and everything came back negative. I made an appointment to get it looked at but because of covid it won't be for another 2 weeks. At first I thought it was an ingrown hair it now hurts when I pee i'm freaking out can anyone help me??

      Do you have any vaginal itching or thick discharge coming out of your vagina?

      No itching just feels like a pinch when my put my legs together. Almost like an ingrown hair I don't remember ingrown hairs looking like this though. and no real abnormal discharge I am ovulating so I can't really be sure but everything seems normal to be ovulating.

      i have very bad anxiety at the moment and im very worried. does this look like herpes to you? i had no herpes symptoms and later tested postive for thrush. im not sure if my doctor tested me for herpes.

      it doesnt look like herpes to me, if she gave u medication for the thrush see if it treats it and if not get tested again.

      yes the medication cleared up the thrush. however i have been suffering with vaginal redness, dryness and occasional burning after oral sex, ever since...

      i was worried that i had experienced a herpes outbreak and i have been suffering with viral vaginitis

      I really don't think it was herpes. I don't know why you are experiencing vaginal dryness and redness, in my experience it could possibly be a yeast infection. You should go back to your doctor and tell them about this. It can either be an infection or side effects of the medication.

      i was worried it could be a mild hsv1 outbreak. but its nice to have a second opinion 😃

      i actually have been back to the doctor and she tested me for both bv and thrush and everything came back clear. she believes its dermatitis.

      however, like i said, i was afraid it could be a result of herpes.
