Hi guys,
I've been on sertraline for 4 weeks. 2 at 50mg last 3 weeks at 100mg. Felt very low with the increase and insomnia. Monday and Tuesday my anxiety was through the roof I take propanolo too. I took one 40mg tablet yesterday to calm me, which worked.
Today I feel good and I haven't taken any propanolo.
Are the meds finally kicking in? Is this how people feel? I can't rem a time I last felt the way I do now. I've been suffering with general anxiety distorder for five years.
It's so strange I even catching myself waiting and trying to feel the anxiety. But it's just not there. I just hope this continues. :-)

Hi Julie,
GAD is horrible isn't it? How long have you had it? I was on Prozac before but it didn't work for me.
Fingers crossed sertraline continues working for us both :-) x

I've had CBT, it helped a little but not enough as I have physical symptoms too. Yes, it's my first time on sertraline.

Hi Michelle,I feel exactly the same, literally like I can't put one foot in front of the other and can't feel my feet or the ground properly, headaches, shakiness, loss of coordination too. I feel like I've got MS or something,my GP said it's all side effects of med which will wear off.I'm signed off work and barely functioning (I also have 3 children under 7),currently on 100mg and my Psych nurse said to give this dose 8 weeks. This is the hardest thing I've ever done.So I feel your pain but we have to stick with it and it will hopefully all be worth it.x x
