Is this Yeast? Remedies for itch?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I've had this white clumpy like discharge for about 2 days now. Slightly off odor not much & not noticeable (only to me). I called my doctor up & told her my symptoms after feeling really dry and noticing the discharge. She sent me in a prescription of Flucanazole & told me to take 1 & then wait 3 days & take the other if the symptoms are still present. I took the first pill this morning around 8 AM & have yet to feel that much relief. I just see alot of "yeast" (if that is what it is) coming out and I still feel irritated. Not so itchy, but irritated. I made an appointment for Thursday but still would like some advice. Also, my discharge looks white in my vagina and yellow in tissue, why is that?

    Hi,

No need to post a picture, with the description you are giving me this is enough.

When was the last time you had sexual intercourse? Use of protection or not?

What calls my attention is the "slight smell" you are describing plus that yellowish discharge, which is NOT caused by yeast infection. I would go for a possible Bacterial Vaginosis. But your doctor should also cross out the possibility of a Trichomoniasis (which is an STI).

If you have any further questions, I'm at your service!

Would definetly love to hear from you!

    Best wishes!
