Ten weeks since my sff and everything itches again inside. Is it normal to still have itching this far out?

Oh... I have no thrush of infection or so. All tests were negative.

I had itching for quite sometime. If your incision was vaginal, it is just part of the healing process. My stitches were the ones that dissolved and a few months later, they were still falling out in the shower. If you have been tested for yeast, thrush or any other infection and it came up negative, my guess is that it is just part of the healing process.

They made an incision in the back wall to reach the sacrospinous ligament. But haven't seen any stitches come out so far.

Do you have a follow up appt? It may be some bacteria in there

Does it really take that long? Today it has been itching inside all throughout the day. Shouldn't stitches at the top sbe gone within six weeks?

At the moment I don't know who to turn to anymore. All day yesterday had itching/burning at the top op the vagina, today it started with itching in the right labia, which then started on the right inside moving to the right buttock. What is wrong with me?? 😫

Sometimes the nerves get affected when they make the cut. It can take months for this to recover.

Have you tried some coconut oil around the labia and vulva. This can be very soothing for itching. Other than getting it checked out I think it's just the healing process.

Definitely think all the nerves etc need to e to heal hun. X

I'm just really scared it will be like this forever. It's driving me insane! And it seems even worse than a few weeks ago

No hun it will get better.. Nerves take months to recover. The back wall has a lot of nerves that can get damaged..

I would definitely go back to your surgeon. What did they tell you?x

I know the feeling, deep itching and be careful not to over stimulate yourself, your lips will swell up and be careful not to paper cut yourself with your fingernails. You need womb healing salve!

The itching/burning has now moved to my right buttock. I am so afraid that something is wrong. The last 1,5 week I have had more itching and burning than all the weeks before.

I will call my GP. I also noticed that there still is at least a stitch. It's underneath the skin. Is a stitch hard thread?
