Itchy red rash on head/shaft of penis

I noticed a few days ago that my penis became itchy I checked it and it had no rash but then a few days later it came up in a rash, I've been with my partner for 2 months and we sometimes use condoms and sometimes we do not but I've never had any problems I'm 100% sure it's not a STD

You need to know what it actually is. Your GP may know on sight what it is, and would refer you elsewhere if necessary. At 60 and very overweight, it's not my favorite thing to do, but I've done it several times.

Patient.info has two pages on balanitis, and you should see two links for balanitis at the right hand side of this page, one for patients and one for doctors. I suspect that some of the the suggestions from the NHS page or patient.info for treatment or prevention of balanitis might help, but if it's causing a problem, then I'd definitely recommend you see your GP. It's nothing to be embarrassed about - they see stuff like this all the time.

Yes. If they think you need to see a urologist, they'll refer you, but you can't usually see a urologist without a referral anyway.

You could also try an STI clinic, even though you're sure it's not an STI. They specalise in all genital problems, and you'd probably get an appointment sooner than with a GP, or you may even be able to walk in. You may find it less embarrassing than talking to your GP, and you could visit a clinic away from home if you want to, and even use a false name.
