yo so im 18 years old (male) never had a health problem in my life except for athesmah or however you spell it lol. Ive always been in great physical shape normally working 40 hrs a week (in the summer) and going to the gym 5 out 7 days lifting weights, running, playing basketball etc. this summer i was doing fine like i said working, wotking out then i got my wisdom teeth out, got a virus and havent been the same since. ive had so many tests done its not even funny, ct scan with contrast head chest abdomen ive had tons of blood work testing everything from thyroid to Mono... ive been tested for Mono three times and lymes disease twice as i had a tick bite, the only thing left to check is my adrenal function... doing an ACTH test this week to rule that out (i have orthostatic hypotension btw)...oh an have had heart completely checked out and all is normal...however this has been my normal day for the past 6 months. Wake up completely exhausted struggle to go to school (im homeschooled and am taking classes at a college) 2 days a week, not able to play in my basketball practice because everytime i exercise i pass out taking naps through out the day because im so tired...oh and i wake up constantly in the night however falling asleep is easy, also im lightheaded almost all day and have severe brain fog. Ive always been a worrier before this but since the illness i have had severe and constant anxiety....my doctor has practically given up and is saying it must just be anxiety and depression however i went to a therapist and she told me that i do NOT have depression but do suffer from anxiety, she believes that there is an underlying issue where as my doctor does not...im not sure what to do as i am not able to do anything but the most absolutely important (non fun) things in life. I am on prozac because my doctor told me it would help...been on it 3 months and no difference whatsoever...my question is Could this all just be anxiety? and if not then what the heck could it be? sorry for the long post btw first timer
