Yup, have this too. One of a couple of peri symptoms just starting with me. I feel lightheaded now whilst sitting down and try to keep my head still. Yesterday I stumbled in the bank but laughed it off blaming it on my bifocals (then realised I didn't even have them on!). I bet they thought I was drunk and making excuses smile

maggie you've made me laugh so much about your bank drama my huband asked me what on earth i was reading on the internet and i said i'm reading about someone just like me.  I too have thought do people think i'm drunk and do i look as off balance as i feel.  on a serious note its really not nice and scary but i try to think about the ladies having a much worse time than me.take care hun x

I'm glad you had a chuckle! You have to laugh don't you? It doesn't help that my face is usually bright red nowadays so I probably really did look drunk smile If only that was the case... smile

      Take care x

hi karen, yes i do and seems to have been going on forever,  dr has referred me to ENT consultant (and MRI) as i supposedly had labrynthitis about two months ago but i think it was a panic attack in response to this off balance feeling which is either caused by perimenopause or else a whiplash injury to my neck when i fell back in June!  I think the hormones are the culprits and have been for a long time.  Here's hopng it passes soon
