Just a word of encouragement for others on this road...

Just wanted to let everyone know that my medication is finally having some effect. I have had three good days in a row where I only get a little bit of anxiety in the morning for a couple of hours. Until the the very end, though, I was very edgy and had some very bad days with a lot of SI and low feelings, to the point of despair. I started to think that I was not going to luck out this time because it was taking longer than it had in the past. I did not get a gradual improvement like in the past after the 7th week. I had plateaued and thought I was in trouble. I increased med dosage to 87.5mg from 75mg which is just a slight increase about 10 days ago. I don't think that did the trick though, I think it was just more time was needed. I hope this somehow helps others. I truly wish you all the best. Hope this just keeps on getting better for all of us.....

This is just the reassurance needed for me today. I've been doing pretty well the last couple of days, but last night trying to fall asleep, I started to get heaviness in my chest and was focusing too much on my breathing which kept me on edge..which is very frustrating... I hope the good days stick around for you!

So far so good. It sounds like you're almost there yourself. Hopefully just a little while longer....

Most of a/d's do, it's a very very common side effect. The way I looked at it though was I would much rather be tired and spaced out feeling temporarily then the reason I was taking them for.
Best Wishes!

I've not yet lol, they are still sitting on my desk. And not because I'm afraid to take them, they have worked SO well for me in the past it's just that I am getting married in a little over a week and didn't want to be going through start up effects. But after the wedding it will be one of the first things I do! 😃
