Just recently got dignosed

I just got told i got herpes n im so scared ive been on meds for a week now n its slowly workin but everytime i go pee n wipe it hurts so much... Even when i wash. Idk what to do or how to relieve the pain

    ask your doctor for lidocaine cream works like a peach! no seriously though it's amazing and numbs it and doesn't burn. I was in your same situation, even a warm bath was painful so my dr gave me lidocaine cream it's awesome

    I had the same issues , my ex would wash down there for me & I would use a&D ointment which helps a lot of you keep the area lubricated it doesn't hurt as bad..

    How long have you had it ? Type one or 2 ?

    Do you know who gave it to you?

    My outbreak was only about 5-6 days I'm fully healed from it from what I can tell no scars or nothing down there

    It does get easier as the days go on

    How are you feeling ?

      And ive had it for almost 2 weeks the 15th is when i seen the bumps n stuff not very good feeling at all. I just wanna cry n cry i want it to be over with. How long does it take to heal n stuff? I go to the doc today to really test me. I went to the er n she just gave me a shot n meds to take 5 times a day so idk what i am think 2 gential

      I didn't know anything girl ..

      I just slowly learned over time and I got diagnosed with mine on the 15th too , it's been two months for me so far ...

      I don't know how to feel about it ..

      Still in shock,I feel worthless used and damaged goods . Like I will never ever be able to have a complete life anymore . Not like before .

      You should definitely get a swab test done so you can have the results in your hand ..

      How old are you ?

      Did you talk to the person that infected you ?

      Feel the same way. Awaiting my results that am pretty sure going to be positive for hsv 2

      N i feel the same worthless n disgusted in my self i really do. N im gonns see if she can do one today while i go to the doc. And u take meds everyday still? Are yours gone

      Did u just find out? N are u still hurting alot? N is the bumps by your pee hole n around it? Mine are n its so painful ;(

      Girl I never even got any meds ... By the time I got diagnosed my outbreak was over so it was pointless ..

      I don't have any insurance either right , I was on my dads but I'm scared if I get the medicine that he will find out about it and I don't want that to happen . I don't need him stressed over nothing like that .

      Let's just be grateful we didn't get the big package like AIDS or something ..

      Why does he ignore you ?

      Does he know he has it ? He didn't inform you he had it ? Or you gave it to him ?

      No he didnt inform me at all n that sucks cus now i gotta, live with it i just got swabbed n blood drawn so i should know Friday for sure if i really do got it n i hope i don't i hope they all come neg

      That's what happened to me .. I never got told that the person had something either . Like .

      I'm literally stuck with this life long virus .. With no cure & by the time they do have a cure I'll be long gone .

      Have you told anybody else ?

      You didn't use protection when you guys had sex ?

      I'm currently on day 3 of my first out break. I am taking the meds prescribed and I am still having so much discomfort. I was wondering when you started to feel less discomfort?

      I started feeling better like almost 2 weeks from my breakout. It was so horrible omg what i did was take warm baths with salt n wash with baby soap wash soft. I would pee in shower with warm water. It wil get better . i still cant believe i caught this nasty sh*t i feel like my life has ended 😪😪

      Day 3 is bad, I know you feel as there is no end in sight right now. For me I started to feel relief on my second week. I felt Ill my first week fever and all. If your having a hard time peeing buy some Lidocaine it numbs abd doesn't burn going on. It works wonders. I took baths in Epsom salt, and put garlic tablets in there. I take l-ysine and vitamin C as well. People say that lemon balm works, I haven't been able to find it yet. No secrets it has to run its course. Take your meds! Drink alot of fluids and try sleeping. I'm sorry you will feel better soon.

      I was prescribed lidocaine 5% by my doctor I just got it last night and I put it one before I pee and omg it works wonders! I'm actually starting to feel a little better like maybe the sores are healing. The dr said I caught it at the beginning and was able to start the meds before it got worse. Our life has definitely not ended! So many people live with this and have no issues for months even years girl! I'm 21 and in a happy healthy relationship. It's just something extra we have to deal with but we can do it! We can still have kids and live a normal life style it could be so much worse! Have to stay positive!!

      I am using lidocaine it's my savior when I have to use the restroom! I woke up this morning actually feeling a little better down there thankfully it's been a total of 6 days since symptoms but 4 days on meds now I haven't seen any improvement until today.. I have been resting and taking it easy! I have been thinking about taking a salt bath thanks for the advise! I'm hoping maybe only 4-5 more days and I'll be back in order! I'm worried about sex after do you have any advise for how long I should wait after I'm finished healing from my outbreak?
