Did anyone get a painful chest and tension between shoulder blades as a side effect from the tablets?

    Er ... no ... but those can be symptoms of a heart attack. How are you doing Alex? Has that pain gone away?

      The pain has subsided now, just alot of tension inbetween my shoulder blades now, it's all linked to my anxiety I think as doctors said my bp, heartrate and oxygen levels are all normal

    I also had tremendous jaw and neck pain while on sertraline. It could be your anxiety, but I'd be more inclined to say it's the Sert. Did you have this before going on Sert? I do hope this drug is successful for you. I have a friend who has been on it 20 years. It was just lethal for me though, had nothig but misery on it.

      I knew it wasn't for me after that first dose, it made my anxiety 10 times worse and chest pain even worse, think I'm going to see how I do just seeing the psychiatrist for now, as would like to get over it without medication
