Keep seeing double vision

Hi,

Does anyone know what keeps causing double vision? When I read on the PC or read text on the TV I keep seeing ghosting or like a shadow all the time. I am short sighted so I don't know if that's anything to do with it. I've seen two doctors and a paramedic and they both said I am fine. I've been to see the opticians and they said my vision is fine so I am out of ideas what to do next.

Any advice would be helpful

Thanks

Hi again,to put your mind at ease you might want to ask for a test called an OCT,its non evasive and does a scan of how well your retnas are working etc. You can google it. I had one and it didnt bother me a bit. Optomotrist and opthamologist have their nurse do the test. Dont ever rely on an optician at an eye glass store.

Thanks for the advice. I heard that someone said steroid eye drops helped them when they were seeing this ghosting issue. I am seeing my doctor next week and I will ask for sorme sort of scan or if they can give me steroid eye drops to see if that helps.

A regular doctor is not who to go to in most cases for eye issues, optomotrist or opthmologist. If it helps any, if I understand what you mean by ghosting, the same thing happens to me ..say dark on white backgrounds on t.v,and computer,if the colors blend or arent bright doesnt happen. Ive had it for years.

I was reading another forum and it seems that a lot of people get it. The 5th doctor who I saw even said they've had it. For me anything with white on dark or shiny backgrounds I see it. I will try and see a optomotrist and see what they say.

      Thanks for the advice.
