I went again yesterday and mentioned it to the physio who told me it's quite normal for a few months for this to happen as we increase movement and effort etc.
I'm rubbing on some voltaren today, resting, elevating and icing. Later I'll go for a slow walk.

my bruising still happens after too much exercise
i mentioned it to my GP yesterday but he said it wasn't really his field and to see what the Surgeon says when I see him in February.
but the bruising does make the knee look odd and I'm just glad it's Winter here in the UK so I can keep the knee hidden
