Knee pain

I have chronic lower back pain due to many things but now it's my knees. I ended up having my knees scoped, thinking it was a bad idea, now it's worse. I have had injections, last a couple days.I now wake up crying because the pain is unbearable. It is in both but mostly my left knee.I never injured them. Why I had them scoped is because when I walked or bend the knee, you can hear the grinding, opping,.I was told I had alot of cartridge build up along with arthritis. They needed to scrap all that away. This started out that the pain came and went but now it's there all the time. It's so much worse at night,it seems anyway because now it's waking me up,and I cry so hard. Don't know what to do? No more injections, don't work,I don't want them scoped again because I feel this is why it's worse.Anyone having this problem? Oh and sometimes I get swelling on side of knee cap, Angles swell only couple times but I am worried.this pain takes my breath away.

Four knee scopes (2 each side) before the TKR.  Cortisone injections never helped.  Try SynVisc.  Fabulous stuff.  Like oil for your knees.  SynVisc is three injections (days 1, 8 and 15); lasts up to a year.  SynViscONE is one injection and lasts up to six months.  Kept me from needing a TKR for years and years.  I would try it before anything else.

Have you heard about SUPARTZ Joint Fluid Therapy?

Supartz consists of a highly purified Sodium Hyaluronate, otherwise known as Hyaluronic Acid or Hyaluronan, Hyaluronan is a natural substance found in the cartilage of joints alongside Synovial fluid (the fluid within the joints). Hyaluronan is both a shock absorber and a lubricant for your joints. Supartz therapy is done through receiving natural & pain-free injections into the knee. The injected lubricant will ease your pain and help you return to your normal activity level.

    You can try this.

Hi, I was reading you're reply to Kjoyo, you mentioned that there is something called SUPARTZ joint fluid therapy, does pretty much all ortho docs have thas? I never heard of it, I have heard of cortozone steroid shots & silicon shots but not what you mentioned. how long has this SUPARTZ been around curious if it has been around long enough that there has no side effects to cause any down the road health issues?

I had knee sprain for over 5 months now & have to use a walker being I get hit with horrible pains in knee as well nervouseness & weakness in my leg which also I found out through mri's & xrays I have moderate buldging in 3 discks in lower back that may be causing pulling & jabbing in my knee. very frustrating to say the least dealing with this every day so I am looking for any solutions to get rid of pain & would like to get back walking normal again without a walker.. thank you..
