Left side breast pain

I am new to the forum and I am 44 years old. I must say my anxiety has come down 10 fold since reading all of your stories. I am 14 days late and I have had some significant left breast pain. It's been 5 days now. And of course because I am full of anxiety I go to the worst possible scenario! Of course my periods have been weird and all over the place and not consistent, I have an app to keep track of them. My breast pain is at the top of my breast, moves to the left side of my breast and sometime radiates to my arm pit. From other blogs I have read left breast pain is pretty common in perimenopausal women. Are others experiencing this? I just want to start my period so bad so the hormones can be released to give me some relief!

    yes I have this symptom right now, left breast feels tender and pain by the armpit for last few days. My period is due in 6 days so I guess that definitely is causing the pain. I am having health anxiety, and worried about every symptom I get. I'm so glad I saw your post, it put my mind at ease, this forum is so helpful. let's hope and pray we all get our normal health back soon. Take care, thank you ladies

    I had left breast pains and lumpiness in February, i had missed two periods when i noticed the lumps and pains, like stabbing pains going right thru my ribs and shoulders. Doctors sent me for mammogram, ultrasound couldn't detect any lumps. Two days later i had a period and the lump slowly disappeared. I didnt go fir the mammogram appointment, however i do get the odd left breast pains which scares me sometimes thinking its coming from my heart. Ive missed 4periods, anxiety and headachs is full on, Honestly this perimenopause is horrible, i have too many symptoms to lists.

    Mine is right breast, right arm pit, and right arm. STOP already, darned symptoms!!!!

    Glad I found this post - been feeling uncomfortable in left breast and woke up in middle of night with breast pain - I am having alsorts of wierd symptoms this year like blurry vision, armpits aching, waking up during night thinning hair all fun - this breast pain freaked me out this morning though I have had aching breasts before but usually both sides - I am due period in 2 weeks but been feeling bloated and rubbish all weekend so my hormones must be all over the place especially as I was snappy at my other half yesterday 😃I always think the worst I did have a mammogram 2 years ago which was ok as they felt lumpy and achy then - I am 45 now and think I must of started symptoms a couple of years ago but more so this year 😦
