Well now what can I say that hasn't been said! I was in your shoes last week after putting THR off 4 times over 2 years , now I can tell you I can't wait to get L done , you're in good hands and pain relief is kept at a level so you'll be fine and before u know it you'll be a new hippy like me , I walked in the park today felt great yes I'm sore but nothing compared to walking bone on bone !

We're all with you every step of the way, get a good sleep and look forward to hearing from you when you feel up to it

    Happy Healing 😊

I don't mind the soreness, I am viewing it as evidence of good progress.  Before my hip replacement, I couldn't walk any distance and was in a lot of pain, even with all of the pain killers I was on.  I'm now not even taking paracetamol all the times I can, as I don't feel I need to.

I love your post Angie it is so inspiring to me.  I know how scared you were and so am I.  I love knowing I have people like all of you on this forum to give me the confidence and courage to do this.  I meet with the surgeon on October 12.  Thanks so much!

Very, very glad to hear that you are doing well Angie. I wish we could have eased your anxiety before your surgery, but at least you got through and now there will be no stopping you. Hooray.

      Big hugs,

      L
