I had my surgery on the 20th (2nd thr) and got home yesterday.might have been home earlier but my blood pressure was too low.
I really hope you are feeling as well as I feel right now. They used new anaesthesia protocols for me and it made a huge difference for me (no nausea or disorientation not even any hallucinations about swarms of killer fruit flies - pretty funny unless you find yourself in the middle of the devils).!
I encourage you to folllow Renée's most excellent to so many of us: be patient with and kind to your body and be sure to ask for help from family and friends - you will need it. You will likely find that it helps to be very explicit as those who have no experience with thr - they cannot appreciate the level of pain caused by jarring or overly quick moves. Nor will they appreciate the degree to which muscles, tendons and other connective tissues need re-training.
I wish you a loving family and friends to help and to motivate you and the strength to do your exercise regularly and don't try to be a hero with pain meds - it is all much easier if the pain does not get ahead of you.
Take care and big warm hugs to.
