Thanks for sharing and I understand the glare issue. I have the lens edge glare myself. Alphagan does work for me but taking it forever would be a hassle.
If the exchange solves this I would seriously consider. I am also worried about any side effects of an exchange: capsule rupture, epiretinal memberane etc.
Do you have the glare in both eyes?
How much near intermediate do you have right now? Have you considered you will lose it with the monofocal?

I have the same problem and I read that some people have 20/20 results for both reading and far and I am wondering if these are the lenses that work like a progressive lens. My sister's husband had those put on and it never worked for him....I would like to know too. One thing I have heard is that we need to go to a doctor that specializes in IOL exchange...

i feel like my brain cant accept them. i am going to a specialist who does exchanges, and when i was describing (in tears) what i was going through, he kept nodding his head as if he's heard it all before. original surgeon kept encouraging me to give it time, which is why i waited seven months. i also developed dry eye, but corneal doctor says its mild, and doesnt account for all the issues im having. she is encouraging me to do the exchange as well. i feel like my eyes and brain are fighting every minute to try and see. surgeon said its like trying to hear something through static.
