How about "you need to get more exercise"?

Not only have I gotten that I read just recently on another forum a comment from a woman who said that doctors said that to her husband.

He has been going to a famous clinic for FOUR YEARS with weakness, pain, etc.  Guess what the real problem was?  Prostate cancer, which has spread to his bones.  All the time he was going to this clinic he had cancer growing and spreading.  Now it is too late to do anything about it.

It seems that when the body targets cancer it can get confused and attack normal cells, such as muscle cells, as well.  THAT is what was causing his weakness and pain, not lack of exercise.

Obviously I don't have prostate cancer but I am really going to ask by doctor to check me over next time I go in.

    Good luck!

    2) There's no such thing as ME/CFS.

    3) We all get tired!

Personally, I've been thinking that CFS could be renamed to CES (Cronic Exhausion Syndrome). I hate the word 'fatigue' it doesn't sound anything like how bad we feel. I tend to always use ME because it sounds so much more disabling than fatigue and opens up the idea to all the other symptoms we suffer.

If only I didn't get sea sick (even when it's calm) that's my Functional Movement Syndrome for you.  That's of course another thing that's all in my head for you (thing is they're right).

Think I'm stuffed really until ... I get better, I get over it, I work my way through it, just get on with it or forget about itlol

      Hi Julie,

me too! I get motion sickness and practically fall over from watching a 3-D movie.. It's from to much swimming younger.

everyone says oh it's just swimmers ear. I had that when I was younger. Well that makes it all OK since she had it and it's gone....cry

You could try looking up Functional Movement Syndrome? I have a set of other symtoms due to it but I have just been offically diagnosed.  The specialist said that it isn't uncommon with ME/CFS suffers. However, the specialist ME/CFS department didn't recognise it as part of ME/CFS. In my case it's nothing to do with lots of swimming (although I did alot of it). It's another situation of the nervous system being miss-wired.  Which then shows itself when I'm over tired & over stressed.  neutral  So if I could get rid of the ME I'd be alot better offexclaim

      Julie..biggrin

Ok I will. THANKX..I will look on line FMS.

It's a another good one like u still got?... It's almost like saying...Hey we want to live in miserable pain..yep we stll got it &'it just moved in & won't leave. Like we have any control over a cure...rolleyes

In today's society it's so easy to become over tired and over stressed.

It doesn't seem to take much for me any more. The ring of the phone..or the dogs bark, really startles me and hurts.  Do u have any pets?

Some people r sensitive and more vulnerable . Im a creative type said to be overly sensitive.

Lost track of the number on the top ten list.

#?)So next time someone says ..."Ah UR just being overly sensitive".exclaim

A couple of cats who love to test me on my catching skills of mice and birds.  A couple of children who love to stress me out - even though they really are good kids. A husband who is very supportive although does need to work full time so can only do so much.  Also I'm self employed (creative one) and don't know how to stop working.  So yeh, I'm one of those stressed out sensitive ones who can find anything and everything to stress about.  I'm controlling and have an opinion about everything, then stress about what others think of my opinions.  One of these days I might even work out how to do that pacing thing.  Failing so farcheesygrin!
