Hello Vanessa
No I haven't received a notification I am on MTX and Baricitinib Which is a JACK inhibitor
had a massive steroid injection in December and am aged 61 so I took the decision to socially distance myself for 12 weeks I am working from home As I also have coronary artery desease
checking the NRAS web site score chart places me a high risk
but living like this for 19 years I find I already take most of the personal space precautions as usual for winter month to prevent routine illnesses
I have flu injections yearly reminders sent every September and pneumonia every 5 years
of course this is an unprecedented virus never seen before my advise to you is stay away and stay safe
You don't mention your age or any comorbidities all of which are a factor
.... Yvonne you should be called for yearly flu jab if not from your GP your pharmacist can do it for you and ask about pneumonia jab too great preventative measure
look after yourselves embrace technology face time friends and family
Stay safe

Hi, I am 58 on methotrexate and weekly injections of toxcimulab, I also have a liver disease from the meds. I am now self isolating because I am a self employed short breaks carer for children with additional needs. Social Services still expected me to work but I have a fab supervisor who fought my case. I want the letter just to support my case

Yep, advised as being in the high risk, but cannot get get an online delivery until 18th April, so I had no choice but to go to the supermarket. I arrived 10 minutes before they opened and had to queue with 40 people with trolleys in front of me. I wore gloves and a mask, 😷 but still felt vulnerable.

sainsburys are doing priority delivery slots for elderly and vulnerable. Sign up with the gov website which is provided in the letter if you have not done so yet, the government are sharing the data with sainsburys which im hoping should be soon so we can get priority home deliveries.
i am going to ring the helpline number tomorrow to get some further advise as i signed up Wednesday and i still cant get the slots as they have not updated there system.

Hi you probably wont receive a letter but as you know your immune system is at a lot more risk than other,s who are not on the drug,s that we take.
Do not wait to be told by a system that is under so much pressure it does not know which way to turn.
So if you can, stay home, accept help if it,s available and wait it out.
It,s not what any of us want to hear but my thinking is, it,s one way or the other, and the other is unthinkable.
Stay safe friend.

Anyone needing more advise go to www.nras.gov.uk for a list of medications and their risks
personally I would just consider yourself high risk regardless which medication you are on

Hi,
There is a score chart on NRAS and I score low however it does say this chart is to be used in conjuction with BSR guidance. There was another chart with this on NRAS called guide to social distancincing for rheumatology patients based on BSR and consultant view, which I scored moderate (not able to go out even for excercise) this chart has been removed. I am on Methotrexate for RA.

I got my letter yesterday from RA department saying high risk and stay completely isolated for 12 weeks they use the same chart that's on the NEWS site so you can work it out depending on which meds you're on unfortunately I'm at high risk so even though I've been in 2 weeks already it starts when you get your letter.
They did say I might get a duplicate from my GP

Hello all
I just got my letter today, it,s a little confusing so i,m not entirely sure if i,m a 2 or a 3 on the score chart but i am home all the time been off work since last Tuesday (self employed builder).
My wife does all the shopping and going out for stuff.
I do take my dog out in evening but hardly any folk about( live in a small cumbrian town).
My grandchildren live with us full time so they come with me.
It,s hard for them to but we all just have to paddle along.
Good luck folks.
