For the past 8 months I've been feeling lightheaded and faint, along with eye strain, blurred vision as if I'm in a daydream / bubble all the time, head pains and feeling tired.. I've had an MRI and lots of blood tests and they cannot find out what it is, doctor has now said no to vertigo? It's really getting me down feeling faint all the time sad I eat well and have normal blood sugars, please help!!

Look up SCM Muscle issues and SCM trigger points. It could  be your neck. Have you gone to an ENT?

I've seen an ENT but they said nothing about muscles.. so that's a new thought! Thank you for your help !!

Maybe vestibular migraine?  Thats what I was diagnosed with after experiencing symptoms like yours.  No actual headache but everything else particularly lightheaded, floating feeling.  Now on nortriptyline for over a year.  It saved me.

How are your symptoms now? Did you feel moments of feeling really faint?

In my job I stand a lot.  At times I'd feel so bad I'd have to sit down as I thought I'd collapse.  My symptoms are all but gone now I'm pleased to report.  After 6 months I had to increase the dose as symptoms started to return, but after increasing I've been fine again thank God.  Have you had any medication so far to try and help?

I've been on amitripyline and various others which did nothing sad

I'm on 40mg daily now.  It did take at least 2 to 3 months to work fully.  I remember because I called the ENT's secretary to inform him that it wasn't working.  Lots of awful side effects at first too.

What side effects? Have they gone now then, all your symptoms??

Side effects were palpitations, dry mouth, nightmares.  They subsided after a few weeks but lots of people stop taking because of them.  My original symptoms are gone now.   The only time I get the feelings slightly, is if I have an actual migraine.  This is very rarely though. How long did you take the amitryptiline for?

I took them for about a month and a half and they didn't seem to help at all sad just running out of options and the lightheadedness and bad eyes are worse

I feel for you, I really do.  I would suggest that maybe you didn't stick with them long enough?  If possible could you try again?  I started on 20mg and as I say, it did take quite a while to work.  I was lightheaded all the time, felt 'detached' and my eyes sometimes used to hurt and when I'd close them  they would jump around.  I really hope you find something that will bring you relief.  No doubt other people will have suggestions too, so hopefully you will find something soon.

Hello just read your post about your eyes hurting when you close them and jump around. Mine were super bad like that when my symptoms first started. Was told I had labrynthitis and nystagmus from a previous cold. It's been 2 months and still have it. Eyes not as bad, but bothers me to drive, amd have the floating feeling when walking. All my blood and scans have come clear. I do also have neck issues. But go to physio for yhat and it helps. Do you still get the eye thing? And I have swaying back and forth

Sounds like depersonalization, an anxiety symptom. My only advice is....dont focus on it. Harder than it sounds, but it's the only way. I went through it for almost 8 months straight and still experience it once in awhile.
