I am about 1 1/2 weeks post op for my L3-S1 fusion, decompression laminectomy and other issues they found when they went in. I'm just curious if anyone has not been hungry since surgery? i mean i have to force myself to eat or it takes forever for me to eat. i have no problem getting my water in. Last night i was eating and i got so nauseous i had to sit in front of my trash bucket. So weird!

Wow! I thought there was something wrong with me! I had L4-S1 spinal fusion on August 17, 2021, it's been 19 days. I have lost my appetite as well. I'm taking Dilaudid for pain, and I haven't been hungry for food. I try to force feed myself, but I get constipation if I do eat. I've been cleared to go back to work on 9/20/2021. But this whole thing has left me weak. Thank you for sharing! I feel normal now.
