    Dear Susan,

You could put the antibiotic on the part of the eye that bothers you instead of in the eye. That info was online by some eye doctors.

    Hope this helps you,

I just had cataract surgery on my right eye.  Well, it was about 3 weeks

ago now and after two weeks eye started to get watery, inflamed

looking and felt like something in my eye.  Eye doc says I have a

dry patch with bumps?  The day of surgery when I came home I felt

something stick in my eye and when my husband looked there was

a hair (one of my gray ones not eyelash) and he picked it out.

I now think that hair scratched my eye.  Anyhow the advice I have

to offer is not a cure but local eye doc (not one that did surgery)

told me to get some Systane Balance Lubricant drops, Restorative

Formula (in purple box) that it would help

with the feeling of something in my eye.  It does help a lot.  I

always felt like I have sand in my eyes on a daily basis.  If you have

a different form of Bleph probably won't help but for me it is

a blessing.  When it's bad anything is worth a try.  You have my

sympathy and hope things get better for you

    gel based and very soothing.....
