Low to mid grade fever 3 months in

Hi all,

I was diagnosed with mono on 1/12, but I am fairly certain I started exhibiting symptoms in Nov. 2017.

I am in yet another wave of having a fever - it’s been 99.9-100.4 for a few days now. Everything I read online says the fever should only last 10 days with mono, but I feel like it’s hit over 100 at least 8-10 times in the last 3 mos.

I have an appt with an infectious disease specialist on Tuesday but I’m on “vacation” (mono is making it more like forced torture) now and am terrified I’m going  to drop dead. Anyone have any similar experience with these waves of fevers? Thanks!!!

    Hi everyone,

I was just reading your comments and I just had to reply and wish you all better health in the future. You’re not alone .. we are all in this mess together. I am also month 5..

Right now my main complaints are kidney and liver and shoulder pain .. basically my whole right side of the body from my shoulders to my tailbone.. ultrasound tomorrow as I’ve had abnormal urinalysis results and flank pains.

I find it useful to think back to your worst and weakest moments during this whole ordeal and see how much you’ve improved. Sometimes it’s hard to appreciate it when we still feel not ourselves. If it weren’t for my flank discomfort, I would say I feel 80%.... then again the bad days come back but thankfully less intense and shorter than before.

Oh yeah, MY MUSCLES AND JOINTS OWWWW. Lol!
