LS and Sauna

Auto immune disease seems to be 'encouraged' by toxins in the body. Don't know whether that counts for LS as well.
Could anyone tell me whether regular sauna's would be beneficial?

It is not recommended that LS patients go swim in a pool, or go in a hot tub. Due to the chemicals that would not be beneficial. But a sauna would do the opposite - relieve the body.

I know that eating healthy, or as I have to do, following a strict diet, makes a difference to overal health. If only we would know the culprit that causes LS.
Drinking lots of healthy fluids helps. Thinning the urine for sure. Rinsing with baking soda may be more than disinfecting. I know it does something with the pH balance. Is there a connection?

I moved from NYC to Florida 7 years ago and the very first week I moved here, I started having urethritis very badly and had no idea what was causing it. Occasionally, I would have a sore vulva, redness, then the whiteness and fusing started. It took years to go to a gyno because I had no healthcare and thought the symptoms were just yeast infections. Now recently I found out that the water in my city is treated with Chloramine. I started washing myself with only bottled water and will see what happens.
