LS related to Thyroid issue

I have been seeing a dermatologist for my LS, and he said that there's confusion over whether it's an autoimmune disorder or not. My gynecologist thought it was related to psoriasis, but the dermatologist has been involved in researching it and found it's more related to thyroid issues. He gave me a requisition for blood tests, and sure enough, I'm now on Synthroid. I asked my pharmacist to check and see how many LS patients on clobetasol also take synthroid, and he was surprised that so many are.

So... I thought I'd share that. My LS was quite severe 2 years ago but I have it under control and have only 2 minor flare ups since I was diagnosed.
