i just saw a neurologist and he prescribed LYRICA for nerve pain. I am wondering if anyone had success with this drug.

I take 1 Horizant (600 mg) in the morning and 1 at 5pm !
I'm getting so much pain relief that I'm able to do things that enjoy for a change !!

wow what type of drug is that? What time of pain do you suffer from?

I meant what type of pain do you suffer with? I also read Horizant is the same as Gabapentin / Neurotin, This medication is "cousns" with Lyrica...

Please be careful in coming off of this drug. There is a secret Facebook group (google it). They can help you wean off of it. You need to do it super slowly. I was on 75 mg a day and my doctor had me come off 25mg at a time. He had me remove 25 mg wait 3 days, remove 25 mg wait 3 days then I was off. I have had nothing but severe withdrawals. I feel like I have fibromyalgia. Most doctors do not know about this or refuse to acknowledge it. Please be careful.
