Medical opinion about using borax?

Hi there, people on this site are reporting good results about the use of diluted borax. When I mentioned this to my specialist she was critical and advised strongly against. Does anyone have more positive experience of a doctor being encouraging about the use of borax? Every best wish.

After years of bad doctors, specialists too, and being made to feel like a hypochondriac and a time waster I can't believe I've found her. I'm terrified that Brexit will prove too much for her, she isn't British...

I've just bought a skin cream called Madelaine's cream from Helios Homeopathy (based in Tunbridge Wells, UK). Madelaine's Cream also has its own website https://madeleines-cream.com/collections/catalogue I will let you know how I get on, it arrived today.
This is taken from the website...
'Our original cream contains organically-grown herbs: calendula (marigold), urtica (nettle), stellaria (chickweed), as well as graphites (mineral carbon), flower and colour essences, vitamin E oil, and extra-virgin Siberian cedar nut oil. It has an aqueous base made with soya wax, almond oil, and borax. It may be used for dry skin, sunburn, scars, tattoo after-care, eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, burns, and also makes a fabulous moisturiser and cleanser. Unscented.'

So far so good with the cream, but it's only been a couple of days. Arlee I have had good results with avocado oil which you can buy in any grocery or health food shop. I put a few drops of chamomile essential oil in it (it's got another name I can't remember, begins with mat...). I spray with water or dilute borax after every toilet visit and then put oil on. I'm only not using it at the moment because I want to change things regularly. I got sensitive to coconut from over use.

Hi j02359,
Yesterday I saw my gynecologist. It had been 2 years since he'd diagnosed me with LS. He was very pleased and impressed with my improvement and asked me what I was doing. I told him about the baking soda baths and the Borax treatment. Instead of freaking out, like I expected, he congratulated me and said he was glad I found a natural healing method. He said he'd actually heard of the usage of borax and told me to keep doing what I was doing because I looked great. He said that he tells his patients who choose steroids to only use them sparingly because they don't fix anything, they just help manage the symptoms, and steroids bring with them their own set of problems.
Needless to say, I was thrilled with his assessment and his openness to natural healing. By the way, he's a highly respected OB/GYN here in the States.
So, again, a big thanks to Alistar for her sharing this treatment with all of us!!!!
