Menopause and shoulder pain

Does any of you ladies have shoulder pain . Mine aches away and can travel to my shoulder blades.
Then of course comes the anxiety of what if it's something serious and I have lung cancer. Feel like I'm slipping back with the anxiety as had it bad about a year ago and took meds for it. Thought I had overcome it

Hi Angela I too am having the same thing. It seems to be the top half of the left side. My breast hurts too so not sure whether it's from the muscle up to my shoulder or what it is but it is scary and I too would like to know whether this is another weird symptom of the menopause.

Spot on Bev with the breast issue too. I even get cramping under my armpit. My Dr said it's dissension of the breast.
I'm due the 50 year old mamagram in July.
Part of me knows it's anxiety from menopause. When I'm driving I have to be vigilant as I can feel my shoulders tense and need to drop my shoulders.
Every niggle tells me it's something serious. Its just horrible. This site really helps knowing others feel the same

Like I said mine is all the left side under arm and down my arm. I'm soon to be 52 and my next mammogram is due October. Do you get other symptoms too Angela it would be interesting to see if mine are the same because I have all sorts of strange scary symptoms and my anxiety is shot

Bev I think I have had it all. I'm on hrt which has helped with anxiety but the last few weeks it has reared its ugly head again.
The shoulder and blades pain I feel is worse when I lean forward. My left breast feels weird. When I went to Dr about it I was feeling like a horrible sensation in the middle of my breast stopping behind the nipple area. That's what he said was dissension which is also felt in armpit.
I have anxiety. Flushes Sleep disturbance aches and pains dizziness dry eye and mouth bloating the list is endless. Hrt has really helped until now. Its just horrible

3 years from onset if symptoms which initially the Dr put down to grief after losing my mum. It never left me and got worse. My backache was terrible and the anxiety led me to think I had lung cancer . Put on amatryptaline for sleep and the ache left me. Then came other symptoms flushing irrational thinking panic attacks ext. I went on hrt which really helped until now. The shoulder and shoulder blade pain is back and of course the anxiety has kicked in again. The last couple of weeks has been a rollercoaster of worry over my little 3yr old grandson and the possible diagnosis of autism. I keep trying to tell myself it's worry and stress of that bringing this pain back.

That's exactly how my breast feels I'm sure the shoulder pain will go and another symptom will pop up in some other part of the body !!!! Iv had so many symptoms iv lost count. Who would have thought the menopause can cause so much havoc to your body that it constantly scares the hell out of you !!!

Its an absolute nightmare Bev and as you said 1 symptom goes and another pops up.
My poor mother always told us they don't call it the change of life for nothing and how right she was
