Menopause chest pressure panic

Posted , 13 users are following.

I have had a complete work up with two ER visits thinking I had a heart attack. Ekg normal chest X-ray CT abdominal upper and lower all normal. I can't swing the gas pain and stomach problem which has gotten worse in the past 6 months since my cycles have stopped. Has anyone had this with panic and overwhelming fear? What could I take to relieve this horrible feeling.

    Hi,

I felt the same way many times and when I went the doc. she gave me a Xanax which I took twice and never again!

I'm trying to exercise and do Vitamans which I'm learning about.

My favorite thing to hear and say is "your not alone"

I too have had to rush to the ER and had blood work, ekg, chest ex ray and everything comes back normal. The hospital for a while had come to know to who I was because I was going to the ER so many times. Every time the ER doctor would say it was depression.

Finally last year I had a full panel of my hormones checked and it all came back abnormal.

I'm needing to get an endoscopy for my stomach issues according to my Doctor.

I had an endoscophy due to discomfort in upper left area (where stomach is) peri bought on gastitis in my case, symptoms burning in that area, nausea, loss appetite, had to go on ppi's for a while. It took some time to clear, had to avoid caffeine, alcohol, fatty and spicy foods. I would recommend having an endoscophy if symptoms continues, fluctuating hormones caused my gastitis x

Reading all these posts regarding pain under the left breast top of rib cage it's often due to the gall bladder and the acid reflux have you all had that explained to you or checked ?
