Mental fatigue.....Fluoxetin:e

Posted , 2 users are following.

My depression is a result of severe mental fatigue. I completely burned out from work. VERY very very very long and scary recovery processes physically and mentally. Nobody teaches me a recovery process.

I was watching a small FLUOXETINE pill wondering if it'll help me. I learned first time what happens when brain cannot function any more and how hard it is to bring back once shut-down functions.

I don't know what to say.... I don't know what severe dissociation & depersonalization is. I've never heard of severe brain fatigue & it must be awful that your work caused it.

I hope very much that you have a good doctor & others that can help you. Please tell me you do.

      HI

THANK YOU to keep in touch.

i've worked very hard as a professional for decades till my brain was unable to handle stress and heavy responsibilities anymore.

Dissociative symptoms are atypical for depression....weird perceptions that i cannot explain well.

I have a psychiatrist. He knows me well.

it'd hard to go through this but no other choice....

    46 days on Fluoxetine.Almost 7 weeks.

Just waiting for neuro-receptors in my brain to be be activated. 46 days don't seem to be long enough in my case....frustrated but there's nothing I can do.

49days on Fluoxetine. Somewhat less anxious? But no major relief so far.

Thank to sharon97651, I finally understand what really happened on me a year and a half ago.

2 years ago, I came off from Lexapro for 15 years .i now know i suffered severe antidepressant discontinuation syndrome and burning out from work at a same time. So horrible.

I physically recovered slowly. But severe depression.....here i'm now suffering with.
