Currently on my 2nd week  and feeling so much better in myself , I’m sleeping again, the migraines have stopped, it’s just the constant hunger, I’m already overweight and was losing weight until now. Does the hunger eventually go ?

Hey, I'm over 3 months off Mirt and I've lost 10kg. My appetite went really bad initially, but I am eating properly again now. Mirt just seemed to slow down my metabolism and make me always hungry. I hope you don't get too many side effects.

Just jumping in on this discussion, I’m so relieved to read other people are struggling with the same symptoms on this drug. I’m reducing mine from 30mg back to 15mg, for the same reasons in this post. I’ve only been prescribed it since Xmas but the hunger, anger and brain fug is just frightening, I’ll take the hit of increased anxiety while withdrawing than continue feeling trapped in my mind and body on this drug. It’s scary stuff!
