Mono need help

Hi so In June I woke up one morning feeling very weak. I thought I needed to eat something but when I ate breakfast I still felt weird. I ended up having my first panic attack. My entire summer was filled with ER visits for weakness, low energy, fatigue, dizziness, off balance feeling, and generally feeling unwell. It turns out I have mono (diagnosed a week ago). I don't know what to do. Just looking for others' stories and well and recovery process. It's my 3rd month and I just feel so helpless. ?? Thanks guys ! Blessing to all

Hey guys , and yes Craig I get what you're saying that makes soo much sense. Hopefully the viruses doesn't change shape anymore and my body can fight it off haha.

Also I'm glad "the vibration feeling" was brought up. About a month ago I woke up out of my sleep (before I was diagnosed with mono) because I thought I was going to have a seizure. I never had one in my life and I don't know what it feels like to have one Thanks be to God, but I felt like my entire body was shaking and vibrating , it went away but I was so scared. I notice it at night time now the most.

Hang in there Christy....I think those kind of vibration and shaky feelings can happen without a doubt so try not to worry - it just sets your whole body off balance as you say - you're doing everything you can so don't put yourself under pressure it's just sometimes a time factor unfortunately sad but things are going to get there for sure.

Glad to hear you're seeing some progress Caroline....good to hear!!

Yea it's like having the jitters. And you're right that probably does contitube to the over all off-balance feeling. Definitely looking forward for this symptom to pass ! Thanks again Craig smile

Hi Daeon, I have muscle twitching, but it's not just in my legs and feet. It's all over. It doesn't hurt or anything but it's in my legs, arms, thighs, fingers etc.

      Hi Daeon,

?That's the way to do it, enjoy things and then rest.

      Hi daeon,

I've had glandular fever 11 months now and I'm still in bed early every night, 7 or 8pm.  I've had the hot and cold chills and suffered two really bad stiff necks over the course of it.

Its the worse virus. Take it easy.

Wow that's a long time,  where you neck glands in the back swollen with your stiff neck pain?

      Also does anybody sweat

      Hi Daeon,

I did sweat in the begining but that has gone away. I think it's your body trying to get rid of the virus by sweating it out. When I was younger my dad would always make me sweat out my colds and it always worked.

Hi Christy, I had this buzzing/vibrating too! It’s so hard to explain the feeling to anyone. I hope you feel better soon

Hope you feel better soon too Ashley....yes those upper right quadrant pains can be so frustrating, hoping that everything settles down - I know i had some pain in these with my glands, but it did settle down eventually.
