Anxiety can be at its worse in the mornings forva lot of people. If you research it , the explanation is to do with cortisal in the blood stream which is normal on waking but if you have a tendancy to have anxiety it runs amock.

After a good breakfast and some morning meditation get moving around and keep as busy as possible to help burn it off xx

    Good luck it stucks xx

That's interesting Gill I didn't know that. I think breakfast would be a good idea but it's really hard with my schedule. I am naturally an active person or ansy as my family puts it. Maybe it's my body telling me to chill for a bit. Thank you for you're response

I made a self referal for some CBT never done anything like that before and it was explained to me. How it rises during the night to help you wake naturally in the morning.

Because i had noticed anx was high in mornings but cleared mid arvo and evening but every blinking morning it was back.

I have since used other things to ease morning anx.... Progressive muscle training done for 10mins in bed before i get up and before sleep , i do mindful meditation ... Then get off to work busy busy and burn off the rest of the anx that way xxx

      Good luck

I will be seeing my doctor tomorrow in regards to everything. I find that when I exercise for about 30 to an 1 hour it sometimes eliminates it all day long or for a few hours at least. The tough part is getting myself to continuously exercise. I did exercise one morning and it did nothing so... I think the key is knowing what is going on and then learn to combat it. Thanks for the input. I'll check in tomorrow after the doc visit

The minute I open my eyes every morning I have anxiety and nausea! It's so bad it makes me wanna stay in bed all day,not go out or do anything and i don't know just disappear. It really is bad and a bad way to start your days. Some days it's easy and you fight it,but some not so easy. As I read on your other replies, you seem like a very busy person, doing a lot of things so that would probably explain your situation. Back off from too much work and give yourself a break. Try meditation, reading books, aything to calm you down really. Also, avoid caffeine as it's a trigger for anxiety. Best of luck, keep us updated!

I have backed off of my business and will either close it down or close down for a year or so. I know that it's not good for business but it's only a part time deal. I have cut back on my coffee and cigarettes and it helps a little. I really need to eat better and make sure that I get at least 3 meals a day. Reading books sounds like a fantastic idea. I used to read a lot but just became so busy. I enjoy writing also and I have a published book. Think I just need to slow down and try to relax. I am all over the place! I totally agree with you in regards that it is horrible waking up to this. I may just exercise a bit more and pick up a book also. Thanks for your ideas. I will keep you updated for sure

Update-went to the docs and he denies asthma or any other lung issue. He gave me a nasal spray and said it was allergies plus anxiety. He told me to take 300mg of St Johns Wort for 3 weeks 4 times a day plus exercise

The fresh air and just walking really helped me. i spend so many hours working inside , visiting sick people, that i began to forget i had a life.

At first it was hard to motivate my self to get out in the fresh air at weekends but once i did it was marvelous and i make surw every saturday i walk and breathe 😊
