hi would only say that everything takes time often far more time than we would like.
If your doctor has recommended upping your dose than do it but please bear in mind
it can really take a few weeks ++ for an improvment to be noted.
The downside of all this is patience which is needed BIG time whislt you will ultimately improve. do not give up heart. good luck

Hi Laura, try not to worry about side effects....everyone is different and some people get away with very little....every day is different. Dont fight the feelings that come....just carry on as much as possible with your daily stuff x good luck x

Hey Laura, how are you handling the increased anxiety? Are you getting any other side effects? I hope it settles down quick for you usually its about 2 weeks (but dont worry if it takes longer everyone is different) and do you have something to calm you down if the anxiety gets too hard to handle, i just find that having diazapam with me at all times even if i do not take it makes me feel much better. After two weeks or a bit longer, slowly you will start feeling a bit better and better. Tiredness will definitely get better but it needs time. I really struggled with sleep at first but now it has improved a lot and i take cit in the evening, dont feel as tired during the day anymore but its still there. When you start improving you will have so much more energy that it might even freak you out. You will want to do things and go out. This experience is like a rollecoster it will be very up and down while your brain is adjusting but like all rollecosters dont go on forever.

I dont have anything to handle the anxiety if it starts..doc gave me diazepam but I'm terrified to take it.. when I was down I believe my fear of sertpraline started me off with full blown anxiety then moved to duloxetine which started intrusive thoughts so I'm so scared of takin anything else xx

Hi Laura have you found it helped with anxiety and intrusive thoughts? I've been on 10mg for 2 weeks, mine caused by zopiclone withdrawal never had it before. Not helping much so far, but did swap for couple months to sertraline as citalopram was affecting my hair so messed things up!

Not good thinking going back on very low dose zopiclone for short time then taper properly try sort my brain out and hope once citalopram kicks in things improve. I couldn't get on with sertraline made things worse.

yeah the sertraline is a bad tablet..i blame that for starting the whole process start then the switch to duloxetine added to it.. how.long u on the citalopram now

2 weeks, messing around with sertraline hasn't helped. Started taking zop again will try maybe for 6 weeks gradually tapering off see if it helps. Figure can't feel any worse than I do, after year with no improvement will try anything. Hope you soon improve.
