Muscle aches

Hi guys

Do any of you suffer from muscle aches and cramps? This seems to be one on the worst symptoms for me.  I have aches in by legs, shoulders and chest. Much worse after sitting for a while.

Thanks

Hello Linda, can you also please send the link to me? It happened to me during the peak of my hyperthyroidism before I got diagnosed. It come to the point that I couldn’t walk and fell while standing couple of times.

Yes!! Mostly my aches are at the top of my knee on my thigh.  I do get bad charlie horses/leg cramps at night. These I believe are side effects of the medicine I take. I'm on Methimazole 5mg a day.

    Hi Dean,

Yes, I get pain in my hands and knees. I am not sure if it is muscle or joint pain though. Like you, it also gets worse from not moving for a long period of time. I have noticed that the cold makes it worse and warmth helps. How about you?

    Take care,

      Hi

I haven’t really noticed any change with heat or cold. Although a long soak in a hot bath does ease symptoms.
