    hi maggi,

warm welcome to the hippies forum -

I agree with previous posts - 8 weeks is still early in recovery from such a major invasive surgery where tendons, muscles etc. were cut - joint brutally dislocated , prepared to have hardware banged in ---

expect to have muscle pain for some time - your body is healing while you are doing everything to get stronger- your body is still not in balance  and muscles need to work hard to  compensate -

when do you have your follow up appointment -

come here any time you have a question, concern or just want to chat okay

be gentle with your self and remember to rest ...

    big warm hug

Sounds like we are in the same boat!  Going back to see Doc on the 18th.  Will let you know, I am not happy with results because everyone said this would be a piece of cake compared to my knee replacement ....not the case here.  Still have lots of pain in leg and groin area also still walk with a limp!!😔  Sorry note is such a downer!  I am ready for some happier days too!

Me too I walk with a limp , sitting feels like I'm sitting on a cricket ball

I had that feeling of sitting on a cricket ball. Last week after almost 8 months, it was gone! What a welcome surprise that was. I'll bet yours will do the same! Good luck and know that it will go away.
