Muscle pain and stiffness -Perimenopause

Hello everyone,
Does anyone here suffer from debilitating muscle pain and stiffness? It just came on suddenly one day after work. My left arm was almost completely paralyzed . Went in for many checkups, doc visits and chiropractor but nothing helped. They tested muscle enzyme and that was normal too. I am in peri menopause and the pain is really intense just before a cycle. I cannot even lift my arm over my head.
Tired of the painkillers. I take turmeric, maca root powder, magnesium and vitamin D.
Does anyone have anything like this? If so, did anything help?
Thanks

Dear AJacynM,
You can test forVit D, Iron and Magnesium and see if you need a top up. I opted not to take any and just go for fruit, veggies, nuts and excercise. I have noticed great improvement with my regular stretch band excercises.
We moved from gloomy England to the sunny part of the world so I can't complain.
Hope you find something that will work.
God bless

Hi Patti,
This was what originally alerted me to something was wrong. when my neck and left arm were so stiff and in pain and suddenly i lost the use of my left arm. from there is was all down hill from burning skin on the left side of my face and body and painful joints, migraines and burning mouth syndrome to name a few things i have been suffering through and through it all I have been treated like a nut case by drs and ignored and fobbed off by neurologists not actually doing their job. I have been left to search and learn things myself from trial and error which has been frightening. I am beyond angry and astounded that women are still being treated as we are in this day and age and Drs are lacking education. These are all peri and meno symptoms.
Anyway i have had many unsuccessful treatments and in the end it has come down to a combination of HRT patches and carbamazepine (an anticonvulsant) medication to stop the burning pain and duloxatine plus pain medication if needed. Its a lot i know but ive done what i hadto in the end. I hope you find relief
