Muscle tension and breathing

Out of nowhere my chest shoulders and back muscles get very tense and then I feel as if I can't breathe at all, I have tested for asthma and any other lung problems and everything comes back clear, if I lay in a heating pad it seems to help, is it safe to say that it's just my anxiety?

    Hi,

I have health anxiety and have something similar, pain in back and chest, first I thought it was muscle tension and now I sometimes get a wheezy noise when I breath in with a dry cough and pain in upper back when deep breath in morning aswell as weight loss! So I have self diagnosed with lung cancer, i your symptoms are much less than mine so I wouldn’t worry to much tension is a big part of anxiety and it sucks! Do you have any other symptoms?

Sometimes I have tingling in my hands, I also have what feels like something is in my throat when there really isn't, sometimes my stomach feels as if it's in my throat, I can feel fine then all of the sudden I feel as if I can't get any air.

Anxiety tend to comes out of the blue. I've been woken up for a few days with fast heart rate in the early morning. Almost freaking up but i take propranolol and breathing exercise, and then go back to sleep. Minds is very powerful thing. Sadly if we can't control our mind yet, then this anxiety will always come.
