I broke my ankle August 30,2019,Did surgery 18 of September but I'm having trouble sleeping with the walking boot can someone help me please how do you sleep comfortable with the boot on.

    These are just pics of my foot in plantar flexion deformity and xray showing thinning of shin bones. My tibia is 1cm thick down the bottom so have to be in boot as it will snap easily. My fibula is almost half is normal size. 😦 It shows osteoporosis and arthritis through my forefoot and arthritis of my big toe. 😦.

      I'm sorry you of to go through that I broke my ankle 3places and I've about 10 hardware inside my ankle I'm started to feel them rubbing against my ankle feel annoying and uncomfortable 😭😫 I'm jus hoping I get through this and my ankle go back to normal.

    For what it's worth, I slept for several months on top of my bedspread. Used a couple of throws as covers. I used a wedge type pillow to elevate my leg (ankle) and came up with a sleeping cocktail that helped knock me out for part of the night (no regrets!).
