I WAS HAPPY THE DAY MY DOCTORS AND I MET

TO THINK MY PAIN COULD BE OFFSET

MEDICINE IS A START I BET…

I AWAKE IN THE MORNING IN SO MUCH PAIN

UPSET AT THE LIFE I CAN'T MAINTAIN

I FEEL A WEIRD FEELING IN MY BRAIN

WONDERING IF I AM GOING INSANE...

THE PAIN FILLS MY BODY IN DIFFERENT WAYS

LYING IN BED FOR SEVERAL DAYS

HOPING TO RELEASE A PAINFUL DAZE

BUT I HOPE AND PRAY AND THE PAIN STILL STAYS…

 

MY PAIN HURTS HERE AND THEN THERE

IT'S NEVER THE SAME BUT IT HURTS I SWEAR

ONE DAY IT'S MY HIPS THAT FLARE

OTHER DAYS ITS MY HANDS THAT WEAR...

MY LIFE IS NOW PAIN AND SLEEP

AND THO I SLEEP IT IS NOT DEEP

SO I WANT TO SLEEP AND COUNT MY SHEEP

BECAUSE MY SANITY I HAVE TO KEEP.

    We'll done you Bee, I sleep quite well every night..because of a low dose of amitriptilyne for the pain and muscle spasms I get in bed and being it was originally an antidepressant it knocks me out... ....I really feel for all of you who struggle so with nightime sleep...how on earth is coping with Fibro pain the next day possible...must makes their next day that much harder to cope with..then every hour of the day becomes mingled into one another, as lack of sleep  just doesn't seperate it...I have been there, but years ago.,and it wasn't nice,,,thanks for the poem,.its lovely...I realize you do have sleep, but all thise things that you write about are soooo magnified when someone has not really slept..even as you say..not deep sleep..have a lovely day Bee...be blessed..:-) xxx. Count your sheep and keep your sanity...xxxx

      Hi Christine;  it has been made aware to me that, even though I "think" I'm sleeping , I am actually having Very bad nightmares...others in house say I am actually screaming at times....I always used to dream, but now am "over the top".....what is happening here?....Bron

      My goodness Bron, that's just horrid...., does that make you more tired, like you haven't really slept...amazing what we go through..each one soooo different..have a lovely day..do hope you manage a good peaceful sleep really soon...be blessed.:-) xxx
