So I went to my Uro for my yearly check up. I had the PaE 4 months ago. My psa which was never an issue, went from 1.8 to .9.. and after a sonogram, i was no longer retaining any urine... I forget what it was last year but it was a decent amount. My Uro was kind of shocked. So, I'm very happy with my results. Looks like it was the right move for me.

I also have done extensive research on the best treatment for BPH. First I concluded FLA in Houston was the best first choice. Then I got interested in PAE, which, I think, can be followed by FLA should the PAE result not be successful. Now I am leaning toward HoLEP which seems to have a terrific success rate in the right hands. Why have you not considered HoLEP? Jerry

Most people don't like HOLEP due to retrograde ejaculation. Other than that HOLEP seems like a great option

I have contacted DR Bagla to start an initial consultation. My uro is not buying into this.
