Naltrexone and Bupropion ??

Posted , 9 users are following.

I'm on day 3 of the Naltrexone.  I was researching online if anyone gets really tired.  I start to get tired soon after I take the pill and before my first drink.  Anyway, I came across something that said not to take Naltrexone if you are taking Bupropion because Naltrexone actually contains Bupropion.  I do take 300 mg daily of Bupropion.  My doctor never mentioned a thing.  My pharmacist didn't say anything when I got the prescription filled.  Does anyone have knowledge if I should be taking these two medications together or not?

I am now really pxxxxd off. Yesterday I spent ages writing to misssy and today I've just spent half hour writing to Kelly as I've been where she is today. Sometimes this site makes you want to drink as the stuff you write, just disappears . Blumin, efin, sxxt etc

Sorry you're having trouble with the site, Paper!

I've noticed that if I switch away from the compose window for too long my post will disappear. For longer posts (especially when I have to research stuff) I use Notepad or Word, then just copy and paste. Word saves a draft of your file while you're working on it, so even if the power goes out you'll still get some of it back. Just don't use the enter key unless you actually want to start a new paragraph..

I don't understand techno stuff ADE  but it's just happened again and I'm now having to just give in. Maybe my iPad is just full. Would it make any difference if I go on iPhone ?

Ah, didn't realize you were using an iPad. You can use the Mail app to compose a reply (as if you were composing a new email), then double-tap the screen and choose Select All, then Copy. Go to Patient, log in and then click the "Reply to ???" button. When the Reply window opens up, double-tap in that window and choose Paste and then click the Reply button if everything looks ok. That way if there's a glitch, you always can give it another shot because you've still got your reply sitting in the Mail app.

The site is reloading pages before you can post your msg., Paper fairy.  I have just lost one for Kelly.

It is driving me mad. I have no patience for techno probs.

So dear Kelly , it's back to a few little posts at a time!!!

sorry I've not been there for you as I've been detoxing for 3 days but my heart goes out to you....

I missed hearing from you.  Can you retype all of that, lol?  Ok, maybe just a few things?

Glad you're back to detoxing.  This is what I love about this site.  We try, we relapse or we try and succeed and we're still loved.  As long as we keep trying that's all that matters!  Proud of you paper!
