NATURAL REMEDY STARTS WORKING WITHIN A FEW DAYS

Hi to all you LS sufferers out there, I'm 63 and had it so servere that my life was a living hell, l was competent horse rider and a very active person all that changed. I have had LS for about 10 years and it got to the stage where l ended up with multiple ulcers six or seven at a time that would NEVER go away because as some were healing new ones would appear and it was a never ending cycle, then l was hospitalised for three days as l had 11 ulcers at the one time and could not pee as the pain was so excruciating l had tried everything , nothing worked then l though enough is enough. None of the cortisone or steroid creams were helping at all in fact l think that they were making it worse. Out of sheer desperation l threw everything out and started to apply olive oil to the LS just the cheap plain home brand olive oil that l had in the pantry. Within three days the ulcers started to heal but the the best thing was that NO more were appearing they were finally clearing up and the burning and itching was also disappearing as well and the only thing l was using was the olive oil. Within two weeks l had absolutely no itching or burning and NO more ulcers, the skin that had suffered from the LS was now soft again. That was eight months ago. l now enjoy a normal pain free sex life again the skin stretches without burning or tearing (just use plenty of lube) and l had an excessive amount of white patches which has now mostly disappeared all thanks to the olive oil. My gyno was amazed at the improvement, there is no swelling, no dryness, NO inflammation and almost all of the white patches have disappeared even the scaring and lesions have completely healed, he was so impressed that he has documented my success and is monitoring my continual improvement he has even now started several other patients on the same treatment that were having little or no positive results on the steroids and cortisone creams. Ok this is all l do l have an egg cup full of olive oil that l leave in the toilet and when l go to the toilet l pat the area dry, liberally apply the olive oil in around and between my labia lips ,clit and up inside my vagina as far as possible soaking everything in the oil then gently pat with toilet paper the area ALMOST dry but leaving the area still moist. That is it, that is all l do nothing more, l have a small container that l fill with oil and pop in my purse if I'm going out for the day . I use the oil EVERY time l go to the bathroom. You will notice a distinct improvement within about three days and 100% Within a couple of weeks. Good luck to all those who try this l hope it works for you as well as it has worked for me, l now ride my horses everyday and can were tight jeans without any issues at all which was a thing of the past. It's natural it's cheap and everyone one of us has olive oil in our pantry . 😀😀😀

Hello, thank you for sharing this amazing success story,

I would like to know if anyone else has had success with treating LS or its male counterpart bxo with olive oil? if so what type works best and did it relieve just the itching/burning or did it also clear the white marks?

thanks you guys, I am thinking about trying olive oil soon to start to combat this, hope it works.

I have had great success with olive oil. I also use a plastic squirt bottle, like the ones you use for ketchup, filled with water and a tsp of baking soda each time I go to the bathroom. Feels wonderful and I only pat dry. Suffered horribly for over three years before I started this. Good luck.

May not have made it clear about the water. I keep the squirt bottle in my bathroom and use “a little”  each time I go, not the whole bottle.

Where did you hear about that? Did you just get creative? I'm sure anything doctors advise they have gotten from their patients!

What is the purpose of the baking soda? Is it a PH issue?

I don't have discomfort when urinating , so I'm not sure if I would be helped at all by this. I am no longer using any soap though, including the neutral PH soap I had been using for years.

I heard about the water and baking soda on this forum. Before I started this bathroom ritual,I was blistering, itching unbearably and raw from the vaginal creams prescribed. I began to feel immediate relief from the OO and water “squirts”. I am now on Betamethasone Dipropionate 0.05%, but found if I did not use my OO & water, I was back to feeling the irritation on my vagina. It may not work for everyone, but it worked for me and I do not spend my nights in agony anymore. Good luck.  Hope you find what works for you.

nancy, I find it difficult to keep up with so many threads and people. I may have posted this on here or another thread, but I can't possibly go back over 87 comments. Anyway I have suddenly developed a bad reaction to (I think) the steroid cream (more like ointment). My doc is on vacation, but I spoke with the call nurse and told her I would stop using the steroid for now as I got suddenly very sore and turned flaming red.  Now I am only using the estradiol cream for the AV twice a week. Maybe I should start with the olive oil and baking soda. After a full day of not applying the steroid I am feeling almost normal, thank god!

How often do you apply your cream?

I feel fortunate that we at least have other women with similar experiences who can offer suggestions. The internet is surely good for some things! I wish doctors were as available. Don't know why they don't communicate by email with their patients. At least I have never had one who does.

Beverly, I apply the cream twice daily. The dermatologist said it would help put the LS in remission and I have been on it since 7/18/18. The cream alone is not enough for my condition, yours may be different, but the EVO and water squirts are the answer for me. Before the cream, that ritual was beginning to heal me from rawness, open ulcers and itching. I just pray it will continue to appease my condition as I understand LS is not curable. As I wrote earlier, I had seen my GP, Gyn and a different dermatologist. I happy with the one I have now and she appears to know how to treat LS. Don’t quit looking for the right doctor. Make sure they have treated this and are having positive results. Good luck on your journey to what works best for you.

Nancy, your symptoms are more extreme than mine. I didn't even know I had a problem until I went to see the doctor to confirm it was an infection that was causing the slight internal itch. From what I can glean the edge of one side of the labia was perhaps starting to change...maybe fuse? I assumed it was just shrinking due to the AV. I can't remember what terminology she used. And after my recent reaction to the steroid which turned me flaming red I was actually able to see a faint white line in the buttocks area. I certainly want to do whatever I can to keep it from advancing, but the steroid treatment seems to be inappropriate for me now.

As I do use the coconut oil nearly every night for the AV that may suffice re lubrication. Will have to experiment with olive oil unless my doctor comes up with a different treatment when she returns. It's amazing that you have had such radical healing as a result of applying it. My doctor's opinion was it would sooth but not heal. You and others seem to have proven otherwise.

My understanding is there is no such thing as a cure, but nothing wrong with remission! I tried some OO today just for a change of pace.
