Nausea 12 weeks after gallbladder removal

Had my gallbladder removed 12 weeks ago due to pain from 1 large stone. Had the dreaded diarrhea for 8 weeks but has settled. Have the most horrendous nausea I have ever experienced. It's worse in the mornings and I can hardly get out of bed its that bad. Some days it goes by lunchtime and I feel ok and other days it lingers until the evening and then I feel ok. Was back in hospital last week and other than a little gastritis everything is ok. My surgeon said it will go in time. I am just wondering if this happened to anyone else and how long did it take to go. Its starting to depress me now!

I'm about 3 1/2 weeks out after my surgery and haven't really had much issues. Of course I have the soreness on my upper abs that area is still sore. But last night and today right after my period finished I felt weird nausea and I'm not sure what triggered it. It sort of seems like morning sickness in a way and last night it felt weird and then I had to go to the bathroom and I just had to poop. No vomiting. I figured yesterday was the first day since I actually ate a lot throughout the day. I had decaf coffee (for the first time since surgery) had a starbucks refresher, had gluten free pancakes in the morning, had coconut milk yogurt (dairy free I'm lactose intolerant) and for dinner salmon with green beans, red potatoes and brussel sprouts. I had insomnia that night and then got hungry so ate late at night 3am. I had a fruit cup and coconut milk yogurt cause I was so hungry.
I do have Zofran but I didn't take it as I already took some oxycodone because the pain that I was feeling and was feeling it more on my back so slept on my left side it felt better. Woke up today and don't feel nausea per say just queasy. Not sure what I should eat. I think I might just do a vegetable smoothie with carrots and that might settle ok. Or have bone broth cause right now it feels weird.
Side note I also had my period twice in the same month. In August I got it the 1st of Aug til about the 3 or 4th I have a short period. Then I got it the 30th and it ended today already. So, ya I don't know what is going on.
