Nauseated and slight acid reflux

I am a male, 18 years old. Never had any digestive problems before.

I have been experiencing nausea since last 6 months.

My symptoms are:

Nausea - especially on empty stomach, chronic in morning.

Acid reflux - slight, sometimes at night

Uncomfortable feeling of heat in the body - body temperature is around 98.5 C

Weight loss - lost 6 kgs weight in last 6 months but regained 3 kgs back when I was on antacids and stuff. Now again started to lose weight after the medicine dosage is over for about 2 weeks.

Sweating - mostly in groin region, palms and legs. Sometimes at night too but not chronic.

Blood tests and urine tests came out fine.

Can anyone please help me in determining what is wrong? My doctor says it is nothing, he asked me to correct my diet and gave me a proton inhibitor, antacid and a multi vitamins tablet.

Hi, sounds like you have gastritis and should ask a doctor for H Pylori test.

Especially like you mentioned that you experience stomach burning on empty stomach.

It's an easy blood test that detect the level of antibodies and if you are positive for the bacteria they prescribe antibiotics. I hope it helps and you get better.

I have had persistent nausea nonstop for about almost 3 weeks and had some burning sensation around my chest area and stomach area (hard to detect where) I have been so stressed out and anxious. I got it after I think was a viral infection. I been nervous thinking it was gallbladder but my doctor said usually I would have had pain and stuff. And she thinks it’s a stomach issue. Have anyone experienced this?

Sounds like gastritis which can start after stress.  Get tested for h pylori which can also cause it.

H pylori is s stomach infection which will show on an specfic h pylori blood test, stool antigen test, breath test and endoscopy  with biospy taken to detect the bug.  It is not a blood infection so a complete blood count test would not show it.  Gastritis is detected by an endoscopy.
