Thanks Jean, I appreciate your reply. That was my mobile playing up - I actually wrote HI everyone. For some reason it plays up when I use it to reply to these forums. I've given up on mobile and switched to computer.

Hope you have found some of my other replies reassuring and helpful. Once you get the goitre checked out and appropriate action taken, you are likely to feel much better. With regard to blood tests, look at some of the other discussions, particularly the one by Remotheboss as ShelleyC responded comprehensively on blood tests.

Musculo skeletal problems, peripheral neuropathy, mobility problems, anxiety and depression, loss of interest appear to be common feautures in thyroid disorders as ddoes low vit D.

HOPEFULLY SOMETHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS HORRENDOUS CONDDITION.

I was on Lipitor for a month. I was having horrible neck pain. It felt like the tendons were going to break. My doctor took me off of Lipitor and put me on Crestor, still, the same horrible pain remained. Finally, my doctor took me off of both meds. Almost a month later and I still can't turn my neck! It hurts so badly, it wakes me up when I am asleep. Just for my neck to touch the pillow, is excruciating pain. Now, my doctor said that my neck pain can't be from statins, I say, it is!
