Hi again!!

Im refering to you to have your point of view...

Started zoloft 7 weeks ago at

Week 1 :25mg

Week 2,3&4: 50mg

Had a lot of anxiety, trembling, ... so decided to try 25 again

Week 5: 25mg had some palpitations maybe from decreasing. Anxiety...

Week 6: so try my way up to 50mg maybe in between 25 and 50.

And since few days im almost at 50. But feel again like shaky inside....kinda anxious feeling in stomach... some palpitations mostly at night.

My doctor is not helping at all. Since we have tried a lot of med, she says if this one doesnt work, we will stop.

I have taken zoloft few years ago and it worked but it feels like Im not reacting well anymore to any kind of med. Over sensitive...

Should I continue with the 50mg?

Are my trembling or shakiness inside that feels like anxiety are nirmals?

I know I did played with dosage but I just need reassurance and your opinion of what you would di at my place!

Thanks

I know that shaking inside feeling all too well!  I get if one day then not the next it’s unpredictable. I’m hoping it will level off and go away! Hang in there. I  currently at 100 for two nights now and so irritated and shaking this morning then again this evening/. Be sure to eat something.

    Hi again!

I was wondering this morning if maybe this jitterness inside might be because the anxiety is not controlled by the zoloft??? I take it at around 4pm and wake up with the feeling of anxiety in my body and stomach. Like an interior shake.

Maybe its a sign that 50 is too low and not too high? What do you think ?

This happened to me, i had to increase to 100. Since I did i rarely get them and when I do its because I'm overwhelmed with stress which happens in life.😇

The shakiness is normal but you may need to increase your dosage, I’m on a 100mg now and I feel even better than I did on 50mg!

    Thanks Brenda and Joe,

Thats what I was thinking....That maybe the dact that I try too much to persevere in a low dose, that it just intensify my anxiety symptoms.

I dont know if that is possible but I had a flash about that this morning.

I have read somewhere that someone said he was all jittery, shaky and anxious at 50mg. He always thought that was because it was too high or too strong for him but when he upoed at 75-100mg everything stopped and he was better.

Why does a low dose intensify the anxiety ? Seriously it bizarre?

I dont know if I should call my doc for and increase or wait to settle at 50 and see her on october 3rd?

Like I explained in the beggining of my post,

      I started 7 weeks ago...

      Week1: 25mg

      Week 2 to 4: 50mg

      Week 5: back to 25mg

Week 6 to now: in between 25mg and 50mg.

Im really back at 50 since recently.

Hey Lolita, this is just my opinion but if I were you since you’ll be seeing your dr on the 3rd, I would go ahead with the 50mg till then, there’s a good chance it might just work out for you given that amount of time. I do know 50mg worked for me awhile but I started feeling things like anxiety creep on n after about 9 weeks, that’s when after that amount of time I knew I needed to increase to 100mg and have been doing much better since. Even my sleep has improved greatly. Good luck God bless

      Yes maybe your right.

But now Im worried over my health and think I might have everything...liver issues cause zoloft tends to be hard on liver...

I also have to say that I had zoloft few years ago and I was at 100mg. After 3 or 4 years had to stopped for slight high pressure that appeared.

Last summer, my previous doctor trued zoloft again but in the laps of 4 or 5 weeks she put me from 25 to 100mg. I had a LOT of diarrhea (sorry). After a whole month at 100mg, I wasnt feeling good so went to hospital and said the diarrhea were due to zoloft, did blood test and put me down to 75mg. Felt better but my doctor changed it for celexa only 10 days after beeing at 75.

When I changed doctor, this new one looked at my blood test from the hospiral and told me I had slight elevated liver enzyme but was not worry about it. Previous doctor and hospital doctor never told me that at the time.

I sometimes feel heavy on the liver spot...hope its not somethings bad.

Wow, there’s a lot going on there, maybe you should just wait and speak to your Dr first then. I’m sure you’ll get the answers your looking for from him or her. Good luck

      Yes I know...

But I know she will say that I should stop all and manage my anxiety in other way.

Last time, she mentioned to me that we tried everything and Im probably becoming intolerant to antidepressants by being over sensitive even to low dose.

She didnt even really want to try zoloft since I tried it last summer (of last year I mean).

Before I was on prozac, we tried tapering and felt horrible.

I feel so left alone by the med care and doctors. Just dont know what to think?

Looking at over the counter drugs, eg paracetamol many of them can also cause issues with the liver, so try not to focus on that, especially if the benefit outweighs the risk.

I would continue at 50mg for at least 12 weeks, and then get your prescriber to review.

This group of drugs can take a very long time to reach maximum effectiveness ... up to 12 weeks, so try to hang in there if you can x

      Thanks New York!

I started my periods today and feel sooo shaky, anxious, hot and cold like chills.

Just asking myself too many question.

My digestion and liver seems like crap.

I know advil can also cause that.

      Not a good day...
