Yes, sometimes I’d get up like 5 or 6 times, it was so annoying.  It’s since passed.  My skin is so dry, my legs look like scales. And my arms, if I even only mildly bump or scratch them I get these big purple marks. Not sure if that’s my skin getting thin or what. I’m trying not to google everything anymore.

    Hi Lisa,

I had the irregular periods and found out I had endometriosis.  I also had frequent urination and found I had type II diabetes.  I had dry skin and found out I had thyroid disease.  Hope this helps :-).

Yes, all the symptoms of menopause can be symptoms of something else, but let's not alarm everyone! If you see your doctor with you symptoms they should send to for tests because, while is it most likely menopause, it is always best to check. I've had scans and blood tests but everything was fine - just menopause. But better to be safe than sorry.

I totally agree! I started menopause in 1998.....I've been doing great!

Great. How was your menopause? Are you out the other end and doing fine? I've been asking for women who have been through menopause and come out the other end just fine to post because some women seem to be having a rough time of it I I thought it would help to hear that it does pass re is an end in sight.
