I've been on for a 9 days now. not seeing a lot of change. Take some lorazepam for anxiety. I've tried to avoid it unless absolutely necessary for anxiety.

I have had symptoms of depression for a few years, but things just seemed to crash since August. Sleepless nites, waking up with intense worry over the same things (like it's ground hog day). Regret, frustration, self judgment. Will a lot of this subside once the medication takes hold? I've always thought I was an easy going fun loving guy, but I started feeling a lot of panic and anxiety. I'm turning 60 this year too. I'm frustrated that I need medicine to be comfortable.

Yes, you will get better but it will take awhile. Also, you may get worse before you get better. Be patient and know that it will work in the end.

sertraline takes a while to kick in. I am entering week 6 and I have had a couple of rough days. I have health anxiety so any pain or ache sents my anxiety through the roof. Just booked an appointment with my psyq because I am currently on a 50mg dose, so I am going to ask about the pros and cons of increasing my dose.
