Help! After weeks of itchy, streaming eyes, my GP has told me I've got Blepharitis and to wash my eyes in a weak solution if baby shampoo. It's driving me mad a and getting me down, I feel rubbish.  Any advice would be so so gratefully received.

I think part of my problem began when I used a new rotating brush mascara by Lancome. I have been using Lancome for many years and have always had very  bad reactions ( itching, watering, burning) to a couple of their eye products that I can no longer use. I had my first case of what was assumed to be pinkeye about three days after I had a Lancome make-over which i do twice a year before buying new. I had to throw away all my new faccial and eye products I just purchased sad. Has anyone else had problems with Lancome ? You may have read in one of my other post, the cornea specialist I went to said I had Rosacea which I never had been told by my dermatologist.  He aid it goes hand in hand with Blepharitis, I can't use the baby shampoo and can only use the wet ones on my lash areas. I use the OcuSoft Lid Scrubs which I purchase from Walmart now. ( $10 box) They are very soothing to my lid.  I also use the Systane Balance eye drops all through the day.  I have a prescription for Azasite Prescription drops I use before bedtime and in morning. If my eyes feel better, I sometimesslack off on my routine, but quickly have to start over again.  I really do think the Wet Ones are good for the bacteria.  Sorry I have rambled. sad

I had a reaction to Benefit make up Kathy, I took it back.  All the information on here is so useful and I will try very single one until i get some relief.  Thank you to all of you who have responded to my post, I can't tell you how it's helped knowing you know the frustration of Blephartis.
